In addition to our home care services, we also offer Private Duty Nursing (PDN) through a dedicated, clinically competent team of nurses (RN and LPN).
Private Duty Nursing services are medically necessary services provided to client who require continuous in-home nursing care that is not available from a home health agency and which goes beyond the regular services we provide in our Home Care program.
This may sound a little confusing, so here are some guidelines to help you determine if these services apply to you: if you are living at home and receive home care services, but you need help dealing with chronic medical problems, you may be eligible for Private Duty Nursing. Examples include:
-Ventilation and Tracheotomy Care
-Chronic wound care and infection management
-Checking of blood sugar, clotting times, and/or blood pressure
